How often and How much Water Should be Consume?

'Drink 6–7 glass of water throughout a day' we all have heard this line alot of time in our life.

But do you actually know,
How often and how much water should be consume?
What is the right way to drink water?
What are the rules of drinking water?
Have you ever thought about all these questions? If not, then this is the right time to know each and everything about it so that next time whenever you drink a glass of water you should know the right way to consume it so that it'll give you all the benefits at its fullest.

'Bhojanante Visham Vaari’ it means drinking water immediately after meal is not less than the poison.Water is a part of our 5 elements.
       
According to Maharishi Vaagbhatta, one should drink water minimum 90 min after meal.Those who drink water immediately after meal their digestion becomes weak and this habit leads to gastric trouble and uric acid.
Moreover, drinking water immediately before meal is also not good,minimum 30–45 min, before meal water should be taken.

HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD BE CONSUME THROUGHOUT A DAY?

See, if your weight is 50kg then you should consume 2 liter of water you can decrease or increase the amount of water by 10–20% according to your body requirements and as per season.
And, if your weight is 100 kg then you are recommended to drink 4 liter of water and can decrease or increase it by 10–20% again as per your body requirement.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DRINK WATER?
                   


The best way to drink water, is sip by sip when we drink water in much the same way as we drink hot milk, i.e, taking it in little sips, so this allows water to mix with more saliva in your mouth.
Now, as saliva is a very important digestive substance occurring naturally in our body, drinking water in sips helps to digest food well, and proper digestion of food helps in weight loss of overweight people and results in a lot of benefits for all.

DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND DIFFERENT PROBLEMS NEEDS TO REQUIRE DIFFERENT WAYS TO DRINK WATER SO FOLLOWING ARE SOME WAYS TO DRINK WATER ACCORDING TO THE DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND DIFFERENT PROBLEMS:-
  • Water for weight gain:-
Those who wants to gain weight they should be recommended to drink water after 1/2 hr of their meal.
And is suggested to drink (2–2 1/2 sip of water )between having rice and wheat (if taking rice and wheat together)
  • Water for weight loss:-
For people who wishes to loss their jeans size (loss weight) they should consume hot water.
But if, they have pitta body type which means heating body, they prefer to drink earthenpot water(matke ka pani) it will much more better fir them.
  • For Asthama:-
For those who have the problem of asthma they should be recommended to:
Never drink cool water
You can mix 80% of normal water with 20% of little bit cool water.
Eathernpot water is the best option for Asthmatic people.
  • For Bodyache/Arthritis:-
The people who is suffering from arthritis or any bodyache:
they should prefer to drink hot water
Or else, they can boil water and let it remain until 3/4th of the actual amount and can keep into the fridge and then consume it, because with this it will get lighter.

For ex- If the actual amount of water is 100gm and after boiling it will remain 75gm.
  • For Acidity and Indigestion:-
              

Start drinking more water in the morning and lesser in the night.
You can drink just a little bit of cool water.
  • For slim body type:-
                      

For those who are slim is suggested to drink 1–2 glass of water in the morning.
  • For taller and more weighted:-
For those who have more weight and taller (height is approx 6 feet )they are suggested to:
Drink 4 glass of water in the morning
Drink water sip by sip
Drink water within the gap of 15–30 in the morning.
  • For Sinus:-
    

    
Drink hot water.
  • For Kidney and Heart patients:-
Always drink water sip by sip and slowly.Never drink water while standing always sit and then drink water sip by sip.
  • For Fever:-



Those who have fever they are recommended to drink normal water or earthenpot water (matke ka pani).

IMPORTANT RULES OF DRINKING WATER:-
  1. Never drink water while standing, walking, after passing urine, after coming from outside.
  2. Drinking water immediately after passing urine leads to gas and may harm the pelvic muscles.
  3. Never drink water while sweating.
  4. Drinking excess amount of water in just one sip leads to kidney problems.
  5. Always drink water sip by sip, while sitting.
  6. Drinking less water like 1–3 glass is also not good because it won't cleanse or detoxify your body.
